  • Vos vidéos sont terriblement démentes et excellente et enrichissantes merci

  • 👑

  • is that feeder corn, ethanol corn or table corn?

  • Soprised they dont make carts even biger 80' or so the tractors can pull them

  • How long did the pto shaft last on that mower..it was shaking like crazy..

    • I think it was the plastic safety shield, mine does the same

  • Dumb question, does the batwing mower mulch the whole field after harvest

    • Good question. No they just mow the outside 20ft to clean up the edge of the field. They no till winter wheat over the stalks.

  • ✌️✌️✌️

  • This is how we do it in Romania brdown.net/top/eHyRh87Omnmkhqg/video

  • Mowing the headland edges has maybe more to do with cutting stalks to protect tires in the high traffic headlands, no?

    • It does not they only make 20 foot pass around the field they’re just trying to knock the edges of the tree lines and grass edges back.

  • Love it

  • Like the idea of mowing the stalks. Makes the field look better.

  • for this video, i get abo the channel! more pls!

  • All these big John Deere’s are cool, but man, check out that line up of Peterbilts

  • Long long ways from my Dad's first combine. 55 John Deere with a 12 foot header. WOW

  • :-) I'd like to see the workshop crew at work cleaning air filters, radiator fins and other necessaries at the end of a day, or however often it's done. Those dusty conditions must play merry hell with machinery.

  • Awesome Video Buddy!!

  • I really respect a farmer that ensures that all his field margins are well maintained and tidy.

  • Riding in a huge combine is like mowing grass so peaceful......

  • Great video, as always. Thanks so much.

  • Hi Jason, thanks for this nice video. It's very exciting to see how this farm is opening up a new field. Do you know the size of this field? For me it looks pretty huge.

  • Really modern

  • Love this farm would love to see another semi ride along these guys have some nice looking rigs thanks for the awesome videos

  • I like the idea of running the bush hog through the field to chop the residue and stubble so it can compost faster.

  • We’ve been using John Deere since the 60s at my farm

  • Good video!

  • Great video again... again.

  • Any Fendt equipment around that area?

  • Awesome video! Those huge articulated tractors and the combines were really cool! I didn’t know that they mowed the ground after the crop has been harvested. I love John Deere equipment. Really enjoyed it!

    • Not all farms run a mower over the field after harvest. Many just chisel plow to mix the residue back into the ground so that it can begin to break down.

  • Awsome! How are the yields doing this year?

    • Yields are high this year. 275-300 bu is what I am seeing so far.

  • Some very nice trucks moving the corn!!

  • At this point, I'm wondering when they're going to start putting grain cart-sized unloading augers on combines. Headers keep getting bigger, machine capacity/field speeds keep increasing, grain tanks keep getting larger - correct me if I'm wrong, but it really seems like the major bottleneck for harvesting right now is the combine unloading time, cutting that down by 25-50% would certainly speed up grain cart cycle times and give them a little more flexibility Great video, LOVE seeing the way different operations approach the same problems in ways that fit their collection of equipment

    • My experience has always been a backup at the storage facilities. The capacity of grain legs is the bottleneck. Also the dryer has to process it all in a reasonable amount of time.

    • You have to take into account the amount of weight that there is on an extended unloading auger that is 26-28.5 feet long. The amount of support that would be required to double the output would be insane.

    • @Paul Reed that really depends on size of the farm, the yield of the crop, the amount of combines/header width and the amount of semis you have. We have 2 semis, a grain cart, and a couple of wagons and the combine almost never stops

    • Well they already unload pretty fast. In my experience if there is a bottleneck it's usually with the trucking. Hard to get 250 bushel corn away from the field and get the trucks back fast enough.

  • I could watch these videos all day love them.

  • Great video! Thank you. Only thing missing was the green card dumping into the truck. 👍👍

  • Great work.

  • Have you ever thought of coming to Nebraska cause your always in Kentucky

  • Hello!

  • Do they just mow the edges of the fields? That's what we do

    • I was wondering the same thing. I cannot recall seeing a mower run in a field and I have seen fields with big swathes of grass instead of corn throughout the field. Would it be of value to mow that down?

  • Once again Jason, very cool video!! 👍👍GO BTP!! I see your approaching 2,000 videos!! I've seen all of them as well.😀

    • Thank you. BTP should reach 2,000 videos in February 2021.

  • What’s the largest hp tractor actually in use?

    • bigtractorpower now that’s a powerful tractor ! Thanks

    • Main line production is 620 hp which the farm in this video uses some 9620Rs as well. In 2021 AGCO will offer 670 Hp tractors which means red and green won’t be far behind to have 670 hp tractors.

  • Great video

  • Very amazing video great machine Love seeing different combines and tractors every year good job How are you today bigtractorpower 🇺🇸 love your videos as always keep up the good work bigtractorpower 🇺🇸 Your the best bigtractorpower 🇺🇸 good catch Amazing harvesting corn 🌽 Have a nice day bigtractorpower 🇺🇸 Liked your video as always 👍🏻 Love from UK 🇬🇧 USA 🇺🇸 is a very beautiful country Beautiful countryside Stay safe

  • I enjoy watching these videos a great deal, but I'm wondering exactly how the kernels are separated from the cob? Is this corn for livestock or people? Thanks much

    • Lot of corn in western Kentucky is used for popcorn too. They call it big corn.

    • This is for livestock abd ethanol most likely. If I’m correct, the grain goes through the header, then into the feeder house, which then pushes it into the rotor, which basically beats the grain off the cob, and then the sieves clean the grain and it goes into the graintank and the stalks and cobs are thrown back into the field. I think, someone let me know if they think I am wrong.

  • BTW- those 9570's with the larger tires and full rack of weights look great/serious.

  • Great video as always BTP. Other than the sheer cost of a new unit, why would someone with a farm large enough to require multiple large machines to get the work done choose a 6/780 or 9570 over a 6/790 or 9620? Are there features you can get on them that you can't on the 9620 or 6/790 combines? I imagine fuel consumption would also factor in when considering their use on the farm?

  • Great video! I wish I was doing that instead of writing a research paper for one of my college classes

  • Nice video, Excellent Action & nice machines! 😀

  • How many bushels is this farm producing to the acre

  • Very enjoyable as always Appreciate all your hard work in making these videos. Huge respect and support from the UK.

  • If it ain't green... It ain't mean

  • Jack Daniels I’ve guzzled enough in my younger days makes me wander some times how I made it through 😆 that’s a lot of corn going to Tennessee.

  • When are we getting a video of the grain system? Been waiting for seems like over a year for it.

  • Nice post a video of soul prepetation and planting seeds

  • Great stuff. Been watching for 3 -4 years always great

    • I agree. Great stuff. Great camera angles. Maybe the best BRdown channel. Really worth to subscribe 👍👍👍

  • Wonder what the average bushels are thus far.

    • With that much gear I'd want to be well above 200 bu...we run less $$ in harvesting gear than the one grain cart shown in the video...and I expect 180bu dry...

  • 👏👏👍👍👌👌🇧🇷🇧🇷🚜🚜

  • Really nice looking semis on that outfit! Great video as always!

    • They have a very nice multi color fleet of Peterbilts.

  • I like the tag team strategy with combines. Excellent! 👍🇺🇸👌

  • Thanks!👍👍👍

  • It's nice to see the corn harvest again thanks BTP!

  • Do the yellow beacons on the combines signal to the grain cart drivers when the machine needs to be unloaded?

    • Yep. They turn on when the grain tank is filled to a certain percentage.

    • Yes

  • 👍👍

  • That's a nice green fleet😁👍 It's cool to see how they open up a field😉👍

  • Is this a custom harvest crew or property owned outfit ?

  • Great video as always! Talk about team work! Nothing runs like a Deere! Thanks for sharing! Have a great and awesome day!

    • My NH dealer always says "nothing smells like a john". LOL
